First of all - it's incredibly late and I feel rather moronic for having coffee as late as I did. I got that late-night bug to start moving furniture and going through old tubs of ridiculous crap. I'm sure that'll affect my chemistry study quite well tomorrow. So I'm laying here and finally decided that blogging was in order. It's been an interesting week, overall - and not necessarily a bad one. New Years was fairly uneventful, consisting of watching a movie with my parents, while my siblings watched an animated movie about monkies downstairs. Thirty minutes before midnight we went down to tune into the live feed of times square, and prepare to watch the giant glowing ball drop while hundreds of half frozen morons stand out in the cold and yell, proving that they can successfully count backwards. Of course, the cable was down, so we all piled into my little basement apartment at the last minute, with our plastic cups of sparkling grape juice to watch the ball drop on my cute little 13" TV, only to go down and miss it by three seconds. (Yay for DVR, I'd had it tuned to that channel, and we rewound to countdown!) Then everyone went to bed...really, we're so exciting. I still have yet to post pictures from my christmas feast, or my christmas party food. I have some fantastic recipes to post, and I should have time this week to post them. I am taking great advantage of having the next five days off in a row to get caught up completely in Chemistry, pursue some freelance photography opportunities, and PAINT! I've been longing for a week now to pull out my brushes and paint something, and the opportunity continues to escape me.

I think, perhaps, my coffee has finally worn off - I plan to write some more tomorrow, provided I don't drown in the coffee that will be required to keep me alert through Chemistry. But before I go - I would like to say I am quite proud of how my cookware collection is continuing to expand. My colors are beyond stunning, and because of that, a picture was most definitely in order.
