Past: Making A Watercolor Picture (2001)

Another discovery of my Mother's...6th grade. Typed and formatted exactly as it is on this piece of paper.

Making a watercolor picture
by Lindsey

I'm going to explain to you the steps of making a watercolor picture.
First do you know what you want to paint?
Well that's the first thing you need to do. You need to
get an idea, or an inspiration.
Now that you have an idea, get out your pencil
(Mechanical or regular your choice) and your paper.
Now before you start drawing, go to the kitchen or bathroom sink and
get your paints damp to let them soak (its best if you
turn the faucet on to a drip). Now you can start drawing
your inspiration!Once your done drawing, since your paints are
ready, get your paint brushes, water and, paper towels.
Now you can paint your picture!Once your done
painting of coarse you think your done, but your not!
Now, if you wish, you can take a break but I
prefer to finish my picture first.
After your break or right now if you chose not to have a break
sign your picture. Now your done!
I want to remind all of you to take your time, it may
sound easy but it's not. There are many diffrent kinds
of tools & materials to help you paint or to make it more chalenging for
you So all you future artists out there keep on painting
and experimenting.
